How Do You Say 'Slight Chance of Showers' in Latin?
Cellular-news reports that Finnish weather service Foreca has launched a Latin version of its mobile offering. We can't help but appreciate the irony of someone going through the trouble of translating content for such a modern technology into such an ancient language. Jokke Hasa, the Helsinki University professor who translated the service, admitted to creating some of the Latin words because the translations could not be found in a dictionary.
