New York Times Co Launches ShifD BetaThe New York Times Co has gone live with the beta of its ShifD service that lets you mark a headline of a news story you see online and read it later on your cell phone or other supported device. According to mocoNews, ShifD has three sections - notes, links and places. Notes is where you store stuff to remember, like book titles or a new wine to try. Links is, obviously, where you find the links to those articles you want to read later or Web sites to check out. Places is where maps and addresses end up. Users can add info to their ShifD account from any Web browser or by sending a text message, the article says. Email This Post |
