GQ, Glamour, Vogue Get New Mobile SitesUK news site the Guardian reports that Conde Nast is launching new off-portal mobile sites for three of its top brands - GQ, Vogue and Glamour. The ad-supported sites for Glamour and GQ are going live this week, with the new Vogue site scheduled to bow in May. Conde Nast began offering mobile content from some of its publications way back in 2005 on carrier portals. The article points out that the new sites give the company complete control over the mobile sites, including advertising, and enable it to add rich media elements that don't necessarily work as part of a portal bundle.
