She may not have been in Smallville for that long, but Supergirl has faced more than her fair share of troubles on the CW series. Now, fans of Superman's Kryptonian cousin will get see her facing even more thorny situations in her own mobisode series.

The animated series follows last year's Green Arrow mobisodes that were based on another "Smallville" character. Like the Green Arrow, the animated Supergirl series is exclusive to Sprint, which is underwriting the mobisodes as part of a broader deal with The CW, Mediaweek reports.
