San Diego Gets V CAST Mobile TV

VCAST TV_416.JPG Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm's MediaFLO USA unit are now offering MediaFLO's mobile TV service in San Diego under the V CAST Mobile TV brand. The companies are holding a press conference tomorrow to make the official announcement.

V CAST TV has eight channels of live entertainment, news and sports programming from ESPN, CBS, NBC, Fox and MTV Networks for $15 a month on top of the usual V CAST monthly fee.

Because it runs over the MediaFLO network, the service only works on a handful of Verizon Wireless phones.
