Zumobi has upgraded its mobile widget platform with the addition of a Tile Wizard and on-phone Tile Gallery.

The company's user interface lets you bounce in and out of the widgets, or Tiles, that each contain content bits that you can zoom into to get more information.

With the Tile Wizard, users can create their own Tiles with streams from RSS feeds of their favorite Web content. Users can choose the look and feel of their Tiles and even share them with friends.

The new on-phone Tile Gallery makes it possible for users to choose and add tiles directly from their phone instead of from the Zumobi Web site. Along with the new features, the company also released a slimmed-down client for faster downloads and a smaller on-device footprint.

Zumobi also has some new Tiles of its own set to launch later this month, including Twitter, Facebook, "This Week in Baseball," Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine and Laptop magazine as well as individual team Tiles for all the Major League Baseball teams.
