Flex Comix Manga to Hit U.S. Mobile PhonesDC Comix just announced an investment and partnership with Japanese Manga publisher Flex Comix. According to DC Comics, the agreement will position the 72-year-old company as the worldwide English language print and digital publisher of titles created by Flex Comix. In turn, Flex Comix will create original manga titles across multiple delivery platforms, including mobile phones, the Web, and ultimately, print versions in the U.S. and Japan. There's not much in the way of exact details yet, but this jives with earlier reports of how reading manga on cellphones is already popular in Japan.
