Orb Networks reached the one-million-user mark for its MyCasting service, MediaPost is reporting. The software lets subscribers stream digital media from their computers or the Internet to any mobile device, computer, or gaming console, without regard to the kind of device.

"Orb's surpassing of the 1 million download mark shows that an increasing number of consumers are looking to eliminate restrictions in where and when they watch their content," said ABI Research Director Michael Wolf in the article.
