Frengo, which powers the mobile services for social networks, has come out with an OpenSocial Mobile Toolkit that's supposed to make it easy for developers to extend their Web-based apps to mobile. Consistent with the idea behind OpenSocial, the Frengo platform supports all major U.S. and most leading international wireless carriers. This gives developers who build on the platform the potential to access more than a billion cell phones worldwide.
