Oprah Winfrey has signed a three-year, $55 million deal with XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. to launch a new radio channel beginning in September.

NYP Launches Page Six Mag Today (E&P)
The paper went whole hog this morning, producing its first Page Six: The Magazine, a 76-page slick publication inserted in the regular edition. The question, of course, is how many new readers it can inspire, since so many already buy the 25 cent tabloid for its gossip.
The former Gucci and Yves St. Laurent designer reportedly fought with Vanity Fair editors over Angelina Jolie's naked rear-end after persuading the actress to disrobe for an Annie Liebovitz Hollywood stars layout. Vanity Fair: "I should have known that inviting Tom Ford to oversee this year's Hollywood Issue would create a chorus of office lore many octaves higher than the shrill solos that form the usual monthly soundtrack," writes Graydon Carter, alluding to the "butt crack" post-it note.
