Cable News Turns To Penn State Punishments (TVNewser)
Monday morning kicked off with big news in the college football world, as the NCAA levied a heavy punishment against Penn State for the actions of former coach Jerry Sandusky, and the subsequent cover-up. The punishment was severe: a $60 million fine, banishment from any playoff or Bowl games for four years, and taking away all wins earned at the school from 1998-2011. Against this backdrop, Penn State accepts the penalties and corrective actions announced today by the NCAA.

Everyone had pretty much assumed that the new iPhone was coming this fall; that's generally the time of year when Apple launches them. But it wasn't until today that we had a launch date rumor to throw around. According to one French Apple fanblog, Chinese case makers have been getting orders for cases for the new iPhone. They reportedly have the complete external specs, and they even have the launch date for the new iPhone.
