Lance Ford has been named vice president and publisher of Cargo. He was most recently president of American Media Inc. (release)

August 30, 2005: Jill Rosenberg has been named production manager of Cargo. She held the same position at O, the Oprah Magazine. (mb)

Filomena Guzzardi joins Cargo as production director. She was previously production director at O, the Oprah Magazine. (mb)

Jeffrey Kimmel has been named associate publisher of Men's Fitness. Kimmel has been with Playboy since 1993, most recently as vice president and advertising director. (release)

Marc Richards returns to Men's Fitness as publisher. he was the associate publisher of the magazine until June, when he became American Media Inc.'s vice president of corporate sales, a position he retains. (release)

Mark Cardwell has been named editorial director at ABC News.com. He had been executive producer of the digital group at Associated Press since October 1, 1995. (mb)

Dara Silverstein was promoted to Atlanta assistant editor at PaperCity Magazine. She had been an editorial assistant at the magazine since May 16, 2004. (mb)

Amelia McDonell-Parry has been named assistant managing editor at Maxim. She had been an editorial assistant at Maxim since July 1, 2004. (mb)
