Mark Vamos has been named editor of Fast Company. He had been acting editor of the magazine since August. (PRMediaNews)

Jayson Dubin has been promoted to vice president and publisher of theglobe.com's media division. He will oversee such gaming titles as Computer Games Magazine and Now Playing Magazine. Prior to joining the company, Dubin was CEO of JKD Media Corp./Printingpages.com. (mb)

Tony Perkins will return to his former job as weatherman at WTTG in Washington, D.C. in January. His last day as weatherman on Good Morning America will be December 2. (TVNewser)

David McCormick is leaving the Collins McCormick Literary Agency. (Galleycat)

John Montorio has been promoted to associate editor of the Los Angeles Times. He was previously deputy managing editor, but will retain oversight of the paper's features. (LAT)

Leo Wolinsky has been named managing editor of the Los Angeles Times. He has been with the paper since 1977. (LAT)

Doug Frantz has been named a managing editor of the Los Angeles Times. He is currently the paper's Istanbul bureau chief. (LAT)

Chris Moore has been given the additional title of reader service chief at Cargo. He retains his title of research chief, as well. (mb)

Matt Trainor has been promoted to senior editor at Cargo. He was previously an associate editor there.

Miguel Enamorado has been promoted to senior market editor at Cargo. He was previously the magazine's style editor. (mb)

Josh Peskowitz joins Cargo as associate market editor. He was previously with Stuff and Fader. (mb)

Adam Platzner joins Cargo as director of sales development and European fashion. He worked previously for Niche Media. (mb)

Alonzo Smith has been named advertising director/major accounts for the Detroit Newspaper Partnership. He was previously the advertising director for Zoom Media Group. (mb)

Aileen Mehle has been named contributing social editor of W. She will no longer write the "Suzy" society column for WWD, but instead will contribute longer features for W. (release)

John Tebeau joins Inc. as national sales director. He was previously advertising director of Popular Science and has worked for various Time4Media/Times Mirror titles in the past decade.

Casey Brennan joins In Touch Weekly as a writer in the news department. She has been freelancing for the magazine since January 2005 and previously freelanced for the New York Daily News, where she started as an intern in the features department in January 2004. (mb)

Leslie Dela Vega has been named photo editor at VIBE. She had been deputy photo editor at Teen People Magazine since September 2005. (mb)
