Cablevision Promotes Schueler To EVP of Comms. and Community Relations

Cablevision (NYSE: CVC) promoted Charles R. Schueler to executive vice president, communications and community relations, the company announced today. Schueler previously served as senior vice president, media and community relations.
Cablevision President and CEO James L. Dolan said in a statement, “Charlie has guided the company’s media and community relations efforts during a period of unprecedented change and growth for the company. His promotion is well deserved.” Schueler has been with Cablevision since 1988.
The Cablevision PR team certainly has been busy of late, having to handle a very public licensing battle with HGTV and Food Network as well as managing bad press around Newsday’s decision to erect an online pay-wall.
