Cohn & Wolfe Hires Mike Kan to Lead Global Healthcare

Beginning March 1st, Mike Kan will head Cohn & Wolfe’s global healthcare practice. Kan was previously head of Edelman’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) healthcare practice, which he grew to 60 people over his four years as managing director. C&W’s healthcare group is considerably bigger at 300 people worldwide. Kan left his last sometime in September of last year, two months after Edelman began “redundancy talks” two months prior.

Kan moves into Linda Dyson‘s role, who moves to leader of the firm’s healthcare public affairs practice. Both report directly Donna Imperato, CEO of the WPP-owned agency (Nasdaq: WPPGY).
