Elizabeth Wasden Named Director, Communications for ‘The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric’
Elizabeth Wasden has joined CBS News as director, communications for “The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric,” the network said today.
Wasden joins CBS News from Forbes Media, where she most recently worked as director, editorial publicity. Prior to Forbes, Wasden served as a publicist for media brands including Good Housekeeping and Money magazines.
She will report to Jeff Ballabon, Senior Vice President, CBS News Communications. Wasden’s services are in addition to those of Matthew Hiltzik, who serves as Couric’s personal publicist outside of CBS. The appointment is effective August 2.
