Flack Predicts Sam Jackson’s Death, Pitches Bloggers

(The late Bernie Mac, the late Isaac Hayes, and the very much alive and not dying Sam Jackson, stars of the forthcoming Soul Men)

One flack took the opportunity to predict Sam Jackson’s demise in the wake of the untimely deaths of Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac this past weekend. While it’s true all three are in the forthcoming “Soul Men,” I still don’t know why Daryl Toor of the Attention Group would pitch such a thing. I emailed Toor for an explanation and haven’t heard back, so this blog posts confirms that he is indeed, a tool.

The stunt netted Toor a handful of blog hits including WhatUpThug and SoulBounce. Gawker blogged it too but gave no mention of Toor or his firm. Sucks for him.

You may remember Toor for his failed presser during Primary season, where he promised his client would Swiftboat a major candidate in front of 300 journalists. A few showed up out of curiosity and nothing came of it.
