Former Hillary Clinton spokesperson and communications director Howard Wolfson, recently called by the Economist, “one of the least helpful spokesmen this newspaper has ever encountered,” made his debut appearance as a Fox News Channel contributor last night.

From TVNewser:

Sean Hannity was the first FNC personality to welcome Wolfson to the team. “Welcome aboard as a contributor,” he said. “I don’t think we’ll be agreeing often, but I don’t agree with guy next to me that often either.”

Wolfson told the New York Times, who broke the story of him joining FNC earlier this week, “I thought that Fox’s coverage during the primary was comprehensive and fair and evenhanded…It’s a huge audience, and it is important to have a strong, progressive voice on the network.”

TVNewser also has the video of last night’s appearance.
