GCI Health Adds Education Practice

GCI Health has launched a new practice that will focus on patient education and patient-doctor relations.

Synchronicity will specialize in educating patients in disease management, teach them about sticking with their medication, and address other healthcare issues. The practice will also provide doctors with materials, tools, and resources to help them better communicate with patients. Sharon Savel and Cathy Fink, who each have 25 years of experience in patient education, will lead the practice.

“PR and media still play a role to enhance” Synchronicity’s projects, Wendy Lund, GCI Health CEO said when talking about the offerings in the new practice area.  “It’s related, but it’s a separate skill set.”
