Gen. McChrystal’s PR Consultant Is Former O’Dwyer’s Staffer
Here’s an interesting side note in relation to today’s Rolling Stone bombshell profile that may force the resignation of Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in the Afghanistan war.
McChrystal’s PR guy, Duncan Boothby, who set up the interview with Rolling Stone and has since resigned, used to be a staffer for PR trade publication O’Dwyer’s.
“Clearly the days of being a low-profile national security flack are over,” he told the publication today.
