Many thanks go to my co-editor Jason for keeping the PRNewser content machine flowing during my absence last week. I leave for one week and what happens?
Well, some people declared "PR is Dead," again. Or maybe just obsolete. And, we saw the industry's largest trade publication jab right back at the nay sayers, which were in this case, bloggers including TechCrunch's Michael Arrington, Fast Company's Robert Scoble and Edelman's Steve Rubel.
Also, PR video giant Medialink is unloading assets and possibly on the verge of being sold.
Meanwhile, story ideas from NYTimes reporters are starting out on Twitter, and quickly moving to the front page.
Quite a busy week for late August, wouldn't you say?
