-There were more than 381.5 million check-ins last year.
-Sometime just after noon and between about 4pm and 6pm are peak times for check ins.
-MTV, Bravo, and the History Channel are among the most popular brand pages.

We’ve written about the facts and figures showing that use of location-based apps was still in the “early adopter” phase. Based on these numbers, the site is growing quickly.
Moreover, it was in November when the site hired Kaplow and we asked the question whether the site is growing up.
These numbers indicate that the company is moving beyond the early adopters into more mainstream consumer use, even as people and brands continue to determine the best ways to use it. Indeed, that may be the biggest task for 2011; showing a broader audience the fun and utility of the site.
