Kelly Cutrone Launches Production Company
The New York Observer reports that People’s Revolution founder Kelly Cutrone has launched a production company called POW, or Power of the Word. You’ll recall that she just recently announced a clothing line, has a new book, and has been a regular on Dr. Phil. We wonder when she has time to sleep.
The new company has produced a pilot, with Cutrone as executive producer, named after her the aforementioned book Normal Gets You Nowhere. The description – “part Great Santini, part dream maker” — kind of matches the one she gave in late 2010 for a show she had in the works. The pilot, she says, is getting the once-over by MTV.
