Klores the Belle of the HuffPo Pre-Inaugural Ball

The HuffingtonPost’s pre-Inauguration party at the Newseum Monday night is sure to be one of the hottest tickets of the 5-day long Barack Obama Inauguration party circuit, and Dan Klores Communications (DKC) is handling PR.

Sting, Sheryl Crow, and viral phenom will.i.am will perform at midnight. Bold named uber Dems confirmed for the red carpet include Tom Hanks, Stephen Spielberg, Denzel Washington, Shakira, Jon Bon Jovi, Halle Berry, and Ashton Kutcher.

According to a rep at DKC, the print, broadcast, and photographers for the carpet walk are lined up and the firm is working on the same level of coverage for the post-ball. HuffPo readers can join the Ball live online.

The one-time project comes to DKC by way of HuffPo’s main in-house PR person, Mario Ruiz, a former DKC staffer. We’re assuming Dan Klores as well as his political heavies John Marino, Bill Cunningham, Joe DePlasco, Matthew Traub, and others from the firm will make the trip to D.C. for A-list elbow-rubbing.
