For those of you keeping score at home, the Emmy Awards for Business and Financial Reporting delved into PR/marketing related awards this year, with the category "Promotional Announcements for News & Documentary."

The award was won by CNN for their work on "CNN Presents: God's Warriors."

I am pleased to announce that our venerable Marketing and Promotions department won an Emmy today in the inaugural Promotional Announcements for News & Documentary competition held by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Not surprisingly, our colleagues won for their compelling and eye-catching promotions for CNN Presents: God's Warriors, which helped make the documentary one of the must-see television events of last year.
