NY Times Mag: Meet Obama’s Communications Team
The New York Times Magazine today has full page photos of key members of Barack Obama’s staff and others connected with the administration. The spread was inspired by a similar concept created by legendary photographer Richard Avedon for Rolling Stone when Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976.
Nadav Kander had to capture the Barack-stars’ artistic mug shots quickly in several locations, as the positions became public, all in time to go to press ahead of inauguration. Four of the key communications people from the campaign now heading to Washington for White House jobs are featured:

Ellen Moran, 42, Communications Director
Continued after the jump:

Robert Gibbs, 37, Press Secretary

Danier Pfeiffer, 33, Deputy Communications Director

Jon Favreau, 27, Speechwriting Director
