Ogilvy PR Launches “The Daily Influence”

Netvibes, has launched “The Daily Influence,” an online tool for employees and clients that “delivers Social Media, Word of Mouth, Public Relations and Marketing news and information updates into a single interface.”
The interface is somewhat similar to other agregators such as My Yahoo! or iGoogle. To be sure, this is not Ogilvy’s only offering. The agency also employs Radian6 for social media monitoring.
Ogilvy joins agencies including Converseon (Conversation Miner), Edelman (dna13), Manning, Selvage and Lee (BuzzLogic) Brodeur and Shift Communications (Radian6) who have either partnered or built their way to more robust web analytics offerings.
A major distinction in this market can be made between services that simply agregate information versus those that provide context. Busy executives want to know which “memes” to address first and how.
