Once Again, Google and NORAD Get Some “Santa PR”

Just like last year, and every year since 1955, NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) is tracking Santa as he makes his rounds around the globe.

Google has been a “technology partner” in the project since 2007, and surely enjoys the good press that comes along with the move. The partnership even means Santa has his own Gmail account: noradtrackssanta@gmail.com. “Last year, more than 1,000 volunteers answered 94,743 phone calls and replied to 10,326 e-mails from kids around the world. Another 11 million people visited the noradsanta.org Web site,” reports Wired.

According to NoradSanta.org, Santa’s next stop, as of the time of this post, is Palembang, Indonesia.
