This just hit our inbox - Parade magazine sent out a press release today announcing the promotion of Alexis Collado to Publicity Manager. She will be reporting to PARADE VP/Communications, Christie Emden.

One thing we learned from the press release: Parade is the largest-circulation magazine in the U.S. Also, they've definitely improved things on the digital front, and have a decent newsrooom.

ALEXIS COLLADO NAMED PUBLICITY MANAGER FOR PARADE MAGAZINE

New York, January 11--Alexis Collado has been named publicity manager for PARADE magazine, the largest-circulation magazine in the U.S., it was announced today by PARADE VP/Communications, Christie Emden.

Collado joined PARADE three years ago as an assistant publicist and was named publicist just six months later. "Alexis's talents lie in her strong communication skills with media professionals, industry colleagues and PARADE readers from across the country," says Emden. "In her time at the magazine, she has helped to significantly increase brand awareness and publicity for PARADE and its Web site, Parade.com."

Collado came to PARADE from the Bank of America's media relations department (formerly Fleet Bank). Prior to that, she worked for Brodeur Worldwide Public Relations in Boston. She received a BS in Communications from Boston University in 2000. Collado is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Women Executives in Public Relations, the Publicity Club of New York, the Association for Women in Communications and the Entertainment Publicists Professional Society. She currently resides in Jersey City, NJ.
