The Public Relations Society of America, somewhat ironically, needs PR. Janet Troy (pictured) has the left the organization where she was VP of PR.

According to PRWeek, "She joined PRSA in this role in June 2004. PRSA has not yet named a new hire for this position, but Joseph DeRupo, PRSA's associate director of PR, has temporarily stepped in on some projects."

A phone call and email to DeRupo have not been returned as of the time of this post.

Steven Lubetkin, Managing Partner at Lubetkin Communications (and a PRSA member) told PRNewser, "Seems like a kind of shoemakers' children thing, largest PR org in the world, and the head of PR has left."
