‘Reader’s Digest’ to Launch Health and Wellness Brand
On January 6, Reader’s Digest is launching BEST YOU, an editorial brand that will include a book imprint, website, blogs, and enewsletter with 400,000 subscribers.
BEST YOU will target women ages 35 and over with health and wellness topics such as food and beauty. The first book will be Le Personal Coach by French trainer Valerie Orsoni. There will also be digital and traditional magazines.
In September, Reader’s Digest announced that it would be introducing 24 new digital products over the next 12 months, which includes Best You, an iPad edition due in February, and a new online brand called Reader’s Digest Version, the “centerpiece” of the digital strategy.
