Sesame Street to Address Hunger with New Muppet

Sesame Street, in its continuing efforts to be wonderful in every way, has introduced a new character that will bring awareness to poverty and hunger.

Lily will be introduced in an hour-long special airing Sunday called “Growing Hope Against Hunger” that’s sponsored by Walmart. Lily is seven years old, her family goes to a food pantry, and she also volunteers in one.
