Not that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg would have held a press conference to begin with, but the curiously silent CEO finally spoke about his company's controversial Beacon advertising program via a Facebook blog post.

And while we're happy to see that Zuck finally talked, the consensus seems to be that it was too little too late.

We emailed Facebook PR head Brandee Barker, no wait we actually didn't. Why waste our time. If she's not responding to Kara Swisher's emails, we somehow don't think she'll return ours. We feel for you, Brandee. We're sure these are not easy days for Facebook PR.
