Today’s high profile media move comes in the form of Fox Business Network anchor and VP of Business News Alexis Glick‘s announcement that she is leaving the network.
Glick has been with FBN since the start, and perhaps the network coordinated the move to take place during the slow holiday week. However, as we learned from Tiger Woods over Thanksgiving, there is no longer such a thing as a slow holiday week.
In the release is a somewhat tepid statement from Kevin Magee, Executive Vice President of FBN: “Alexis has made a significant contribution to FBN and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
Glick hosted the 7 to 9 a.m. show “Money for Breakfast” along with “Opening Bell.” The former was cut and the latter moved to only one hour this past fall after FBN began airing Don Imus‘ radio show from 6 to 9 a.m. TVNewser has more.
