Rubbermaid Commercial Products Selects Definition 6 as AOR

Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) has selected Definition 6 as its AOR after a competitive search of more than 20 agencies. The firm will work on campaigns for new product launches, planning and execution on digital marketing efforts, promotions, advertising, and other PR services. Included in the RCP line of products are cleaning tools, food storage items, and farm carts.

In December, Carmichael Lynch Spong announced that it had added four Newell Rubbermaid brands to its roster: Rubbermaid, Levolor, Kirsch, and Amerock.

Carmichael Lynch Spong Adds Newell Rubbermaid Brands to Roster

Carmichael Lynch Spong has added four Newell Rubbermaid Home & Family brands to its list of clients: Rubbermaid, Levolor, Kirsch, and Amerock. The firm has been selected as the brands’ domestic agency, working on brand positioning through digital and social initiatives as well as other PR efforts. Sales for Newell Rubbermaid in 2009 were $5.6 billion with the company’s Home & Family group generating $2.4 billion.

CLS has worked with Newell Rubbermaid’s cookware and culinary brand, Calphalon, since 2009. Carmichael Lynch has also been named domestic advertising¬† agency for seven Newell Rubbermaid brands.
