Tech News: Photos on Twitter, 5 More Networks on Klout, Video Chat on Facebook


Twitter‘s PR rep Sean Garrett tells TechCrunch that its photo hosting service is operational for everyone, but not from your mobile device (yet).

Klout has added Blogger, Tumblr, Flickr, Instagram, and Last.fm to its influencer measurement system. Klout measurements now include 10 networks. [via Klout blog]

Speaking of MSNBC, its Twitter handle/website Breaking News has partnered with Storify. According to TechCrunch, Storify averages 6.5 million story views per month.

Media intelligence company VMS has announced a partnership with Media Monitors Pty Ltd, a media intelligence company in the Asia-Pacific region. Media Monitors will provide VMS North America clients with content from the region, including Australia, New Zealand, and China.

MyMediaInfo is celebrating its five-year anniversary with a giveaway for nonprofits. The company will award five nonprofits a free one-year subscription to its MyMediaInfo Media Contacts Database and the Social Media Module, worth $5,000 each. Nominations will be accepted starting tomorrow through September 30 with the giveaways awarded on October 15
