TweetMyJOBS to Host Conference With Guest Tim Pawlenty

TweetMyJOBS, a social recruiting platform for Twitter, is hosting its first American Jobs Conference on Twitter next Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. PT. The conference will include a “Tweetnote address” by GOP presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty and “Career Chats” with business, government, and recruiting experts.

“Our goal is to raise awareness with job seekers and small businesses about how effective social media can be in terms of recruiting connections. Small businesses are the engine for job creation and social media opens new, affordable avenues for those companies to connect with job seekers,” said Robin Richards, chairman and CEO of TweetMyJOBS, in a statement.

The hashtag for the conference is #jobs4US and you can sign up here.

Last week, there were some who questioned whether President Obama’s Twitter Townhall was really the best platform for that sort of conversation. We’re curious about that for this conference as well.
