WagEd Expands Enviro Practice With New Clients and NRDC Hire

Waggener Edstrom has hired Jon Coifman as VP in an addition to the agency’s environmental practice. Coifman brings some serious chops to the job as he was previously director of media relations at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

In addition to Coifman, the agency announced two new clients: NatureWorks LLC, a developer of bioplastics made from renewable resources, and Ener1 Inc., a developer of advanced lithium-ion batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles. Coifman is leading the Environment Practice in partnership with WE Vice President Brandy Bishop.
