Job Details
Position: Temporary Technical Writer/Editor (UTemps)
Location: PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS
Hours: 40 hours/week, with occasional travel and possible overtime
Duration: Until July 31, 2025
Responsibilities
- Edit PIP Practice drafts and data sheets for correctness, grammar, and format, including obtaining approvals and updating CAD drawings if applicable.
- Coordinate and manage publication of 550+ Practices using DMS, including communication with team members and posting to websites and archives.
- Convert documents to publishing formats, track publication metrics, and notify members and distributors of new Practices.
- Review published Practices for accuracy, verify links and dates, and conduct audits of website listings and distributor information.
- Participate in meetings, support teams and committees, prepare minutes, and assist in event preparations.
- Perform administrative tasks and pursue professional development as needed.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and effective relationship-building abilities.
Compensation & Conditions
Hourly Rate: $27.50
Work Conditions: Office environment, manual dexterity, keyboard use, lifting, standing
Work Shift: 30 hours/week, with potential travel and irregular hours, hybrid environment
