The Publishing Operations team is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with SAP expertise to join their growing team. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, managing projects, supporting users, and maintaining documentation. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with SAP consulting experience who thrives on solving complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP MM and PP modules, as well as experience with SAP implementation, customization, and large data set analysis. This is a business analyst role that does not require coding but does require technical fluency and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. We are looking for someone who can multitask, stay motivated and curious, communicate clearly, and actively contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Analyze business requirements and design solutions to improve business processes, particularly in SAP MM/PP modules
  2. Gather and manipulate large data sets to derive insights and support business decisions
  3. Manage complex, multi-system projects with diverse stakeholder groups
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs
  5. Adapt to changing business needs
  6. Conduct functional and technical analysis, create system design documentation, and perform configuration changes in a highly customized SAP system
  7. Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in business systems analysis or related fields
  • 3+ years of SAP analyst experience, with preference for SAP MM and PP modules
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, complex formulas, and data validation
  • Analytical mindset with ability to derive insights from data
  • Experience designing solutions to optimize business processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently and in teams
