Job Description
Seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer to join our Procurement Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that support procurement processes and tools. You will work closely with procurement stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into robust, scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Application Development: Lead the development of web applications using modern frameworks and technologies to support procurement operations tools.
- Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and secure web application architectures.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of web developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Integration: Integrate web applications with other procurement systems and tools to enhance business capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work with procurement teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot any issues with web applications.
- Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills And Skill Proficiencies Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience: Proven experience as a Lead Web Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on procurement or supply chain applications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular). Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, .NET) and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is essential
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in applying AI/ML LLMS to PO tool for optimization
Optional Skills And Skill Proficiencies
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
- Knowledge of procurement processes and systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications
