AV Workshop has been New York City's premier Audio-Visual service provider for nearly three decades. We provide turnkey Audio-Visual solutions to NYC's most prestigious hotels and social venues.

Preferred candidates will have experience in:

• Hotel/Corporate/Venue "in-house" AV
• Hotel/Corporate/Venue "freelance" AV
• Convention centers, trade shows, sporting arenas, and exclusive event venues

Operational/Technical Skillset Expectations:

• 1-2 years' AV management experience in hospitality-related environments such as hotels, convention centers, or event venues.
• Assist the Director of Event Technology in overseeing venue AV operations and technicians.
• Foster positive relationships with venue management, support staff, clients, event planners, and AVW management.
• Oversee AV equipment inventory, including communication with warehouse and logistics for equipment movement.
• Technical knowledge should include:
• Advanced understanding of AUDIO, capable of basic operation on digital mixing consoles.
• Advanced understanding of VIDEO, capable of basic switching, projection, and GFX operation.
• Advanced understanding of LIGHTING, capable of basic lighting operation including dimming, spot lighting, stage washing, and up-lighting.

• Work diligently, calmly, and professionally under tight deadlines.
• Maintain extreme professionalism and respect when addressing clients and venue employees.
• VIP customer service experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Be a team player from start to finish.
• Experience with hotel, corporate, and social venue operations.
