Description
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing end-product reports and/or other intelligence products and services (e.g., working aids, databases, briefings, etc.), in accordance with information sharing policies and standards. Prepare information for publication or presentation by reviewing and editing content, verifying source accuracy, and assessing dissemination formats. Ensure products adhere to reporting policies and style standards. Provide writing, organization, reporting, and distribution guidance, and mentor as needed. Coordinate information internally and externally. Tasks include writing reports, responding to foreign releases, researching and preparing responses to customer information requests, reviewing drafts for accuracy, and contributing to reports such as the Inspector General Quarterly Report.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience in writing, editing, or producing technical/analytic reports related to signals intelligence or information assurance.
- Educational qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus 12 years relevant experience; or Associate’s degree plus 10 years; or Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years; or Master’s degree plus 6 years; or Doctoral degree plus 4 years.
- Preferred degrees in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing, but any field is acceptable.
Skills and Capabilities
- Research, analyze, and report on intelligence.
- Experience with SIGINT reporting and classifications.
- Knowledge of agency-specific tools and methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills.
