SALARY RANGE: $100K - $115K

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Web Developer (Drupal/PHP). The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables. Key to the success of this position is the effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build and test web-based applications and edit site content for various components using Drupal.
2. Create and manage web pages, add/edit content and upload/remove documents using Drupal.
3. Maintain website standards and comply with predefined design guidelines.
4. Utilize best practices in web screen design and learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements.
5. Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application, including responsive design.
6. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to bridge graphical design and technical implementation, defining how the application looks and functions.
7. Estimate, plan, manage tasks, and report progress.
8. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
9. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
10. Optimize application for speed and scalability.
11. Create, theme, and manage content within Drupal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with technical training in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Drupal 8/9/10 development.
• Understanding of Drupal architecture, APIs, module/theme development.
• Experience in designing and implementing web UI using JavaScript/JQuery, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap.
• Experience with PHP, Twig, and Custom Module Development in Drupal.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and ability to address related issues.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git version control and deployment workflows.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to report progress and impediments proactively.
