Job Description

Your Career

As a Principal Software UI/Frontend Engineer on the Netsec UI team, you will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and UI engineers to design and deliver innovative, clean, consistent, and high-performance UI solutions that empower security administrators.

You will lead engineering best practices, mentor team members, architect and implement features, introduce new tools and libraries, and tackle complex technical challenges within the UI team.

Your Impact

• Build high-quality, scalable React components that provide actionable insights into firewalls.
• Create components, libraries, and frameworks to develop a cohesive design system for frontend applications.
• Identify problems and opportunities, proposing simple, attainable solutions to enhance development and product quality.
• Establish and implement engineering best practices, including test-driven development.
• Foster collaboration among stakeholders to create an exceptional product.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 9 years of programming experience.
• Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and tools like Redux, Hooks, Webpack, Storybook, npm/yarn.
• Proficiency with CSS/SCSS, AG Grid, visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3.js.
• Experience in creating responsive web applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with senior and junior engineers.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks like Cypress, Jest, react-testing-library, Mocha.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Linux environments.
• Strong debugging skills and a knack for impactful data visualizations.

Nice to Haves

• Experience troubleshooting system integration and performance issues.
• Portfolio on GitHub or similar.
• Knowledge of micro frontend architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Canvas, SVG.

Compensation Disclosure

Salary ranges from $147,000 to $200,500 per year, depending on experience and location. Compensation may include stock units and bonuses. Details are available here.
