Overview

ILS Inc. is looking for a Senior UI/UX Developer to support a federal project. The ideal candidate will have good experience in designing and developing user-centered web applications using Angular, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and have good multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry standard UX design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
  • Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistency across the application.
  • Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related equivalent.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in UI/UX design and development using Angular.
  • Extensive experience and expertise with Angular framework (Angular 12+), TypeScript, Angular CLI, PrimeNG, HTML 5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Nodejs, RESTful services, Figma /Sketch, and Karma.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as RxJS, NgRx, and Sass.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Angular projects, independent frontend modules, including designing scalable and modular architectures.
  • Proficiency in building responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform applications.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and multitasking skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the concept of micro-frontends and practical experience implementing them in Angular applications.
  • Experience with AWS.
