Audio Visual Operations Manager - Colorado

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AV Operations Manager to assist in overseeing audiovisual operations in one of our hotel properties in the Colorado Springs area. This role is responsible for assisting with managing the AV team, coordinating setups for meetings and events, maintaining AV equipment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of AV services.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Proven experience managing AV operations, preferably in a corporate or events environment

Strong knowledge of AV technologies, equipment, and systems

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate with various stakeholders

AV-related certification (e.g., CTS) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the AV team, including hiring, training, and performance management

Coordinate AV setups for meetings, events, and conferences

Troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment to ensure optimal performance

Develop and implement AV procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency

Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support AV needs

Research and recommend AV upgrades by staying current with industry trends and technologies

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and AV-related regulations

Support AV budgeting and oversee procurement of equipment and supplies
