This is a Chicago or Milwaukee-based position and will require weekly in-office time.

And at a time when consumers are becoming increasingly jaded to brands talking about themselves, you understand how vital it is for others to speak on a brand’s behalf. You have a strong understanding of media and messaging. You know how to bring strategy, ideas and content together. You’ve helped lead breakthrough work that has garnered significant earned attention. You’re experienced leading clients, managing budgets, mentoring, building plans, diving into new business, and, maybe most importantly, thriving in the unknown as ideas go through multiple twists and turns as they take shape.

What You’ll Do

· Lead the development and execution of integrated PR and content strategies for key clients.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with client marketing leaders and internal teams.

· Ensure account health by providing strategic direction, quality control and smart resource allocation.

· Guide teams to deliver results-driven work, ensuring performance is measured and insights are shared.

· Proactively monitor trends and opportunities, providing strategic counsel that adds value, often off the cuff and in the moment.

· Mentor and develop PR team members, fostering a culture of feedback, growth and collaboration.

· Manage budgets, resourcing, and financial forecasting for your accounts.

What You Bring

· A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years in public relations, communications or integrated marketing

· Deep experience with industry media relations, satellite media tours, innovative sponsored content programs and influencer engagement at a national level

· A strong portfolio of successful PR campaigns and content programs

· Experience working in an advertising or PR agency billable environment; ideally supporting b2b clients

· Exceptional communication, leadership and decision-making skills

· An integrated mindset—you understand how PR works with creative, media, and digital disciplines

· A love for strategic thinking, smart execution and building lasting client partnerships

· Experience managing and mentoring teams across multiple accounts

Location

Must be within 60 miles of our Milwaukee or Chicago office and be in office weekly.
