Data Processing Coordinator - Library Automation
Duties:
Primary responsibilities include training school district personnel on library management solutions, such as the online public access catalog (OPAC), inventory management, catalog consistency, and best practices. Additional duties include organizing user group meetings, troubleshooting software issues remotely or on-site, and developing training materials. Collaboration with internal teams and software vendors is essential. Strong data entry skills are required, and familiarity with school library operations is preferred. Other duties may be assigned. As a member of the Library Automation team, the incumbent will support school library management and OPAC systems in coordination with the Regional Information Center and district staff. Travel:
Required within a five-county region (Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties) for training and support. Location of Position:
