**Summary:**
We are seeking a Graphics Modeling Engineer to support the development of a custom graphics pipeline optimized for AR/VR systems. As part of the Graphics Architecture and Systems team, you will lead functional and performance modeling for the AR/VR graphics pipeline and collaborate closely with teams developing graphics IPs and pipelines for AR/VR devices.
**Required Skills:**
**AR Silicon Graphics and Modeling Architect Responsibilities:**
Collaborate with graphics and system architecture teams to develop functional and performance models for AR/VR graphics pipelines.
Lead power/performance modeling and analysis of graphics pipeline components, features, and use cases.
Support all phases of Silicon SoC development from graphics pipeline modeling perspectives — from early definition through specification, architecture, and productization.
Contribute to executing our silicon technology/graphics roadmap to advance performance, power efficiency, and form factor.
Coordinate across disciplines, develop new methodologies, and manage multiple initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in IP/SoC/System functional or performance modeling, including model implementation, validation, and correlation.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with hardware modeling.
Understanding of SoC and system architecture, including heterogeneous compute principles.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, scripting automation, and data visualization.
Experience evaluating architectural trade-offs in performance, power, and image quality.
Experience using scientific methods to debug, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience with GPU hardware architectures or graphics pipelines.
Experience building or modifying full-system performance simulators.
Experience collecting and interpreting performance counters with GPU/CPU profilers.
Experience developing graphics workloads with Unity or Unreal engines.
Experience optimizing performance and power under thermal constraints in mobile devices.
Ability to work independently, seek feedback, and collaborate effectively.
**Public Compensation:**
$142,000/year to $203,000/year + bonus, equity, benefits.
